VIEWPOINT
A workshop where we take a fresh look at that patterns found in natural materials in close-up. Using gathered materials we cut and place leaves onto lightboxes to create our own patterns. These images are then photographed and a slide show is created of the resulting artworks.
Next we use light sensitive paper to capture plant patterns by exposing the paper to ultra violet light.
Finally the class puts on special goggles that make them see upside down and go on a walk through a woodland area to see the landscape from a very different perspective.
Workshop is 1 hour and suitable for ages 8+
